Camping Ancoradoiro

Today, we continued our trek northward and back into Spain.

The route was of approximately 270km on toll motorways passing near Braga, Vigo, and Pontevedra, places we will have to visit on another trip.

Our rough plan is still to visit Scandinavia this summer so we need to press on north a bit.

We were heading for Camping Ancoradoiro, in Galicia.

Towing Kilometres – Today: 267 Cumulative: 13,404

The campsite is about 100 metres from an excellent white sand beach and would serve as a base to visit Santiago De Compostela and spend some R&R time on the sand.

Parque de Campismo Sol de Vila Chã

Our journey today continued north toward Parque de Campismo Sol de Vila Chã, our chosen base for visiting Porto.

This trip involved a 235km tow mostly on fine two lane motorway toll roads. The last 3 kilometres, however, were on very rough cobbled streets where I feared for the integrity of the caravan and its’ contents even at less than 20km per hour.
