Pylos & Methoni
Tuesday 4th June 2019
Top of our plan list today was to drive back over to Pylos for lunch. Even during our tribulations in the town yesterday it looked like a nice place to be.
Koroni
Monday 3rd June 2019
Time to move on again and continuing our anti clockwise tour of the Peloponnese I picked out a Camping Card site in Koroni, aptly named Camping Koroni.
It’s reviews weren’t stunning, and, after the excellent Camping Ionian, we knew we may well be onto a hiding to nothing.

Camping Ionion Beach
Wednesday 29th May 2019
Today I made a tour of the Camping Ionion Beach site which is a very nice place to be indeed.
The reception, where we were so nicely greeted yesterday, requires you to park up, choose a pitch, and return to book in.
New Friends & On To Greece
Sunday 26th May 2019
The plan today was to visit some nearby white villages but we awoke to moderate rain and enthusiasm for venturing out waned. A chat in passing with our nearest neighbours, and now new friends, Nick & Helmi from the Netherlands, resulted in a protracted coffee morning session.
The coffee morning continued, and, once the sun had passed the yardarm, turned into a beer and gin & tonic drinking session and a lovely chat about any subject that came up, of course, including Brexit 🙂
Nick & I did sneak off to watch the Monaco Grand Prix for a couple of hours too 🙂 Continue reading New Friends & On To Greece
