Lagos on the Algarve was a short drive from where we were staying so it was worthy of a visit.
As we entered the town we passed the Forte da Ponta da Bandeira on one side of the road and the Governor’s Castle (Castelo dos Governadores) on the other. (Neither of which we visited). Our current location was perfect for exploring the wonderful beaches of Portugal and we were honestly spoilt for choice and having a car meant that we were able to visit more remote beaches. A recommendation had been Bordeira and we were not to be disappointed. Continue reading Praia de Bordeira
After a fantastic week spent with Paul, Ros, and the kids it was once again time to move on. We had been recommended to visit nearby Zambujeira do Mar so we made the short 70km tow up the coast to the nearby Camping Villa Park Zambujeira. We avoided toll roads to get a more scenic route and apart from some rough patches of road the trip went well.
