Campingpark Oberammergau had been a nice place to stay. The facilities are good and everyone on site friendly. The advertised Camping Card rate of €17 per night was once again bloated by tourist tax, environment tax etc to nearer €23, a bit annoying.
We decided to move over into the Black Forest region for the next leg of our journey back to the UK. I had passed through the region in 2009 on the motorcycle and fancied a closer look. The weather forecast for that region was better than close to the Alps too 🙂

We have spent the last ten days or so moving south to find warmer temperatures and escape the high winds present down the eastern coast of Spain.
