A day of preparing the caravan for the long journey back home and stocking up on some Spanish provisions prior to our departure tomorrow, was the order of the day. We would soon be ready to say Adiós Vilanova Park.
The campsite was extremely busy now, with many Spanish families arriving to enjoy the weekend but it didn’t appear any noisier, which is always a blessing.
Lots of ongoing maintenance work had been going on since we were last at Vilanova and it was obvious that the appearance of the site was a high priority and it was well looked after.
The recent addition of hundreds of red and white cyclamens in pots around the pool, restaurant and garden area added a delightful festive touch.
(Cyclamen and Poinsettias were on sale in many of the local garden centres, supermarkets and florist shops.)
This site has served us very well. It has everything to make your stay comfortable and is extremely well maintained. The provision of water and waste on each pitch and unlimited electricity are an added bonus.
There are very good connections to Barcelona from just outside the gate.
I am sure that we’ll use this site again, but for now Adiós Vilanova!
