We awoke to a cool, grey, day. The weather forecast for Aranjuez was showing overnight temperatures dropping to below freezing for the coming week. Time to move on.

The weather had not been good whilst we were in Aranjuez so we had not really ventured into the town. As today was our last day we decided to walk through the Prince’s Garden to visit the Royal Palace.
Today we were meeting up with Ray’s son Glenn, his wife Lynsey and the grandchildren Zac and Jake for lunch in Madrid as they were spending a few days there during the boys school half term break. Continue reading Lunch in Madrid
Our campsite in Aranjuez was a short drive from the main train station into Madrid, making it ideal for ‘letting the train take the strain’. A must to visit for us was the Museo Nacional Del Prado. Continue reading Prado Museum Madrid
We awoke fairly early to the sound of rain on the caravan roof.
